Ternyata kerja keras orang tua Boimin mendapat apreasi dari Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Mendikbud) Muhadjir Effendi bahkan berkat usahanya itu Wagiyo dinobatkan sebagai salah satu dari 15 orang penerima Apresiasi Orang Tua Hebat 2016 karena dukungannya pada sang anak.

Cemoohan orang dianggap bentuk perhatian orang lain agar terwujud semua impian karena sukses memang milik semua orang. Tak ada hasil instan tapi pasti akan memetik apa yang telah ditanam. Tak hanya itu, berkat kisah ini masyarakat sekitar terinspirasi untuk menyekolahkan anak-anak mereka. Boleh saja orang menghina orang tuanya karena miskin tapi tak berarti anak putus harapan untuk menjemput impian.
