Awalnya, korban tidak berani mengadu karena diancam oleh tersangka. Akhirnya, pada Januari 2018 lalu, korban memberanikan diri untuk mengadukan perbuatan tersangka kepada orang tuanya.

Tidak terima terhadap perbuatan tersangka, orang tua korban lantas melapor ke Polsek Bathin VIII. Mengetahui dirinya dilaporkan ke polisi, tersangka langsung melarikan diri.

Namun, Senin (9/7), pihak kepolisian mendapat informasi bahwa tersangka pulang ke rumah. Anggota Polsek Bathin VIII langsung bergerak untuk menangkap tersangka.

"Tersangka ditangkap di depan Poskamling Desa Tinting saat menunggu mobil akan pergi ke tempat persembunyiannya,” kata Kuswahyudi.

Atas perbuatannya tersangka dijerat dengan pasal 81 ayat (1) jo lasal 76D Undang-Undang Nomor 35 tahun 2014 tentang perubahan atas Undang-Undang Nomor 23 tahun 2002 jo Undang-Undang RI Nomor 17 tahun 2016 tentang Perpu Nomor 1 tahun 2016 tentang perubahan ke 2 atas Undang-Undang RI Nomor 23 tahun 2002 tentang Perlindungan Anak.
