Sebelumnya, pihak Arema FC juga harus menerima kenyataan bahwa jadwal pertandingan harus dimajukan dari pukul 18.30 menjadi pukul 15.30 WIB.

2. Para oknum suporter Persebaya menerobos pintu masuk tiket
Ulah tidak terpuji ini menyebabkan kerepotan pihak keamanan yang mengawal jalannya pertandingan. Bentrokan pun sempat terjadi antara pihak keamanan dengan para suporter Bajul Ijo sebelum laga dimulai.
Aksi menerobos ini menjadi pemicu utama bentrokan tersebut.

3. Oknum suporter Persebaya melempari botol kepada pemain Arema FC
Para suporter Persebaya beberapa kali berbuat ulah.
Salah satunya adalah melakukan pelemparan botol tepat pada akses menuju ruang ganti pemain Arema FC.

4. Aksi oknum suporter Persebaya mengencingi gawang Arema FC
Pada jeda babak pertama, tertangkap kamera salah seorang oknum suporter Persebaya melakukan hal tak terpuji.
Dalam video yang banyak beredar, Bonek berbaju hijau dengan celana pendek tersebut diduga mengencingi gawang Arema FC.
Pria tersebut tak hanya mengencingi satu titik, tetapi ia melakukan hal tersebut di bagian lain.

5. Oknum suporter Persebaya menyalakan flare
Peringatan akan larangan menyalakan flare di dalam Stadion seakan tidak digubris oleh Bonek, julukan suporter Persebaya.
Mereka menyalakan flare setelah gelandang Persebaya, Misbakus Solikin sukses mencetak gol ke gawang Arema pada menit ke-84.
Tak hanya itu, suporter Persebaya juga tampak membalik nama Arema FC pada salah satu papan skor di Stadion Gelora Bung Tomo.
Akibat beberapa ulah tak terpuji ini, sanksi Komisi Disiplin PSSI pun menanti Persebaya.
